Dr. Marks will describe a pilot study examining the efficacy, feasibility, and acceptability of a social VR support group intervention for adolescent and young adult patients with cancer using Foretell Reality. Mr. Goldberg will present this translational pilot project that utilizes Foretell Technologies virtual reality platform for enhancing peer support among adolescent cancer patients, addressing challenges in traditional peer support groups, and exploring the design evolution of the platform from avatars to moderator controls. The presentation will also include insights into expanding the application to diverse populations.
